SA Housing Authority (‘the Authority’) on behalf of the South Australian Housing Trust is seeking to procure a suitable supplier for civil construction services for stage 3 of the Morphettville Urban Renewal Project in Morphettville as part of the Neighbourhood Renewal Initiative.

The Program aims to replace ageing South Australian Housing Trust homes with new homes, creating better social housing, increasing choice and affordability whilst creating jobs. The plans include (but are not limited to) the creation of a new road west and east of Barham Avenue and infrastructure including earthworks, stormwater, communication pit and pipe, kerbs, crossover, footpaths and streetscaping.

The successful tenderer will be engaged to complete civil and service works as per the technical specifications as outlined in Part B of the tender documents and is expected to comply with the requirements of Council and other service authorities.

The successful tenderer will be engaged through an:

• Instrument of Agreement (refer to Part C)
• South Australian Housing Trust Standard Conditions of Contract for the Provision of Works (Civil, Landscaping and Minor Building).
• South Australian Housing Trust Special Conditions of Contract for the Provision of Works (Civil, Landscaping and Minor Building).

It is expected that the successful tenderer will be engaged to complete the civil works within a twenty-four (24) month period. Two (2) extension options of six (6) months are available for delays outside of the Contractor’s control.
