Description
The work is cyclical and has to be completed within a tight, strictly adhered to timeframe corresponding to each PBAC meeting, which are held every four months.While the primary task of the selected consultancy group will be to evaluate and prepare high quality commentaries on a defined number of vaccine submissions allocated to the group for each PBAC meeting, other vaccine-related tasks are also to be undertaken.
Group(s) submitting tenders should demonstrate their relevant experience and technical skills in critically evaluating clinical trial and related economic information.The selected consultancy group should have ready access to experts with advanced training and/or experience in relevant fields, including:
·clinical epidemiology;
·biostatistics;
·health economics; and
·medicine, particularly in sub-disciplines relevant to assessing vaccines, such as public health, infectious diseases, and immunology.
