Social Work Services

DVA is seeking the services of an experienced Social Worker/s (mental health experience preferred) with desired skills in case management to assist with the handling of compensation claims.

Social Work Case Management is a method of providing services whereby a professional Social Worker assesses the needs of the client, and when appropriate their family, and arranges, coordinates, monitors, evaluates and advocates for a package of multiple services to meet the needs of the client’s complex needs. The DVA Social Worker will provide timely coordinated quality care to address the clients’ specific needs in order to promote positive outcomes consistent with best practice. This will assist DVA in meeting its commitment to provide high quality and cost effective health care to entitled persons.
