Australian Government Department of Defence
Amenities Internet Access
Details
Description
Defence is seeking to enter into a new panel arrangement for the provision of Amenities Internet Access (AIA) Services to deployed forces.
AIA is a global solution, allowing Authorised Users (e.g. ADF Personnel) to utilise the internet for various reasons including personal business; banking; communicating with friends and family using email, instant messaging, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP e.g. Skype), other social networking services, streamed videos and media library.
The provision of AIA Services to overseas deployment and domestic exercises is seen as a major contributor to morale and as an extension of other amenities support.
