Documentation Generation Solution

IP Australia is seeking Quotations from suitably qualified companies for the provision for a Document Generation Solution

The services required are for a Document Generation Solution (Commercial Off the Shelf Product which includes associated licences) that will provide IP Australia with the capabilities to easily create and alter documents for its current suite of correspondence, which currently includes approximately 1000 templates for correspondence. If implemented the tool aims to provide IP Australia with improved customer correspondence that can be tailored to suit the needs of customers and provide multi formats.

The solution is intended to increase accuracy and structure, and reduce IT costs through the elimination of Macros which are currently used.

This RFQ requires the Tenderer to submit a quotation for Stages 1, 2 and 3. Under Stage 1, the selected Tenderer will conduct an analysis of IP Australia’s IT environment to confirm the details and costs of integration and will provide IP Australia with a detailed report on what is involved in integrating the tool into our current IT environment and any additional costs this integration may incur. A contract will be issued for this Stage.

Based on results of this analysis, IP Australia may elect to proceed with stages 2 and 3 of this project which will include proof of concept, provision of the tool and implementation and may be carried out over the next 12 months following the completion of Stage 2.
