Description
The Department of Transport’s Maritime Business Unit has identified the need to replace up to 17 Navigational Aids around Rottnest Island at various locations.
These asset replacements have been deemed necessary following previous maintenance inspections and diving reports (subsea) which has confirmed the need to replace each asset.
The installation of these new assets is essential for maintaining safe navigational access to Rottnest Island.
This Tender is a recall of a previous Request for Tender (RFT) No DOT410820. The previous RFT failed to receive a tender that was assessed as value for money.
To encourage Tenderers to provide value for money options, a significant number of changes have been made to the previous RFT.
