Description
METRONET is an integrated transport and land use framework that intends to support the growth of the Perth metropolitan region over the next 50 to 100 years. The proposed METRONET Stage 1 includes approximately 70 kilometres of new heavy passenger rail and 16 new rail stations.
This brief refers to the proposed Morley Ellenbrook Line (MEL), which aims to provide improved connections for existing and new communities in Perth’s northeast. The proposal includes the construciton of 21km of new track spurring from the existing Midland Line at Bayswater, and including 5 integrated station precincts.
This Scope of Services document outlines a range of geotechnical and environmental site investigations in order to gather detailed information on the proposed alignment.
