Description

Innes National Park is one of South Australia’s icon parks. Located on the southern tip of Yorke Peninsula, the 9234 ha park is an integral part of the largest remnant of native vegetation in the region.

Approximately 140,000 people a year visit Innes National Park to undertake a range of activities including fishing, surfing, sightseeing and camping.

DEWNR has commenced resheeting the 8km unsealed section of the main park road in Innes National Park on Yorke Peninsula. 3km of this road was resheeted in late 2014, and the remaining 5km are scheduled for resheeting in 2015. Approximately 3,500 tonnes of material is currently stacked in the park stockpile.

This tender relates to the supply and stacking of 11,000 tonnes of pavement material to be used for the remaining resheeting work.
