Description
The Kalumburu community currently numbers around 600 people and is serviced by the school, a well-equipped health clinic, a community store, community resource centre and the Kalumburu Mission, who also provide a Mission Store.
Teacher housing is located in two main areas within the community, both of which are adjacent to the school. The Department of Education requires the provision of short-term security services over the Christmas School Holidays for the 12 teacher residences and the school.
