000131 - Daintree Rainforest Observatory, Cape Tribulation - Off Grid Power Upgrade

JCU is seeking submissions for the Daintree Rainforest Observatory Off Grid Power Upgrade at Cape Tribulation

The works include, but are not limited to the supply and installation of the following:

• Cable access system including existing/new underground conduits and cable pits, services ducts, catenaries run within ceiling space, cable trays and in-wall and under-slab conduits as required to accommodate the electrical services,
• New main switchboard / Alterations and additions to the existing main switchboard,
• Telecommunications cabling system(s) suitable for Inverter to controller Comms,
• Standby diesel generator,
• Solar PV system,
• PC Sums as nominated in the specification, drawings, and/or pricing schedules,
• Co-ordination of the electrical installation with other trades and with the existing installation,
• Testing and commissioning of the complete electrical installation,
• Provision of as-constructed records and operation & maintenance manuals,
• Staff training in the proper use of the new systems installed, and
• The provision of defects liability during the maintenance period.
