Description
The Queensland Government has developed a competitive tendering process for the controlled release of land for petroleum and gas exploration. Land identified as potentially highly prospective for these commodities may have cash bidding component included in the competitive tender process.
An independent, defensible, commercial valuation of tenements with in-situ gas reserves is required to inform the assessment of future cash tenders. This valuation is to determine the fair market value of the resources so it can be used as an indicative value against which tenders will be assessed to determine whether they should be accepted.
