A project to be undertaken

The NSW Department of Education (NSW DoE) is undergoingorganisational transformation to build climate resilience into itsoperations. A key transition on this journey is to deliver a pilotproject to assess the vulnerability of its diverse portfolio ofeducational assets to the impacts of climate change. This projectinvolves the development of methodologies that evaluate thesensitivity and adaptative capacity of school assets andoperations to a changing climate. The project will build onprevious exposure and vulnerability assessments delivered forNSW DoE by various parties. The ultimate goal of the project willbe to work toward enhancing climate resilience, building internalcapacity and continuing to lead State government withcompliance to strengthened legislative requirements.
