IHACPA 2025 Conference – Professional Conference Organiser

The Independent Health and Aged Care Pricing Authority (IHACPA) is an independent government agency that assists the Australian Government to fund hospital and aged care services more efficiently by providing evidence-based price determinations and pricing advice.

IHACPA’s vision is for all Australians to have fair access to transparent, sustainable and high-quality health and aged care. The agency has been conducting a national conference annually since 2012 in Australia. In 2023, the IHACPA Conference was held in Brisbane and virtually, attracting a total of 518 delegates.

The next conference is scheduled to be held at the Adelaide Convention Centre from 5 – 7 August 2025. It is anticipated there will be approximately 600 delegates attending, although the successful Tenderer should have the capacity to accommodate changes from the estimated delegate numbers.

IHACPA requires the services of a Professional Conference Organiser (PCO) to assist with the planning, management and delivery of the IHACPA 2025 Conference. The conference will be delivered as an in person and on line event.

The event format includes three conference days with two social functions. The conference days will comprise of keynote, panel, concurrent speaker sessions and workshops. All sessions will be either live streamed or recorded for the virtual audience. The social calendar will include a networking function held on day one and a conference dinner held on day two, both of which the successful tenderer will be responsible for organising.

The objective of this project is to engage a Professional Conference Organiser who will, in consultation with IHACPA, suppliers and the conference committee, assist in delivering the IHACPA 2025 Conference.
