Standing Offer Arrangement for the supply and distribution of office and educational supplies

Offers are invited by the State of Queensland (acting through the Department of Housing and Public Works – Queensland Government Chief Procurement Office (QGCPO)) in relation to Invitation to Offer No. QGCPO 801-13 for the establishment of a Standing Offer Arrangement for the supply and distribution of stationery, paper, toner, general office supplies, general educational supplies and publications storage and distribution (Office and Educational Supplies) as specified in the Invitation to Offer document.

For the purposes of this Arrangement, the Principal has divided the products into following seven Categories:
Category 1: Office paper products
Category 2: Computer/printing consumables
Category 3: Cleaning/janitorial supplies
Category 4: General stationery (including writing instruments and accessories, filing and storage components)
Category 5: Catering and kitchen supplies
Category 6: Educational supplies
Category 7: Publications storage and distribution

The objectives of the proposed arrangement are to:
• realise potential Whole-of-Government (WoG) savings through streamlining and standardising the procurement of office and educational supplies
• provide small to medium enterprises with the opportunity to compete for government business
• enhance business intelligence by capturing WoG baseline data about the State Government’s procurement of office and educational supplies.

Please note: If an Offeror requires information or clarification of any part of the Invitation and/or the Invitation Process the Offeror must direct its enquiries to the Contact Officer in writing. Answers to any questions asked will be issued in an Addendum or Addenda uploaded onto the eTenders website. The cut-off for acceptance of information or clarification questions will be 2:00 pm – Friday, 25 January 2013 (Queensland time). The period between the cut-off date for seeking clarification and the closure date of the Invitation allows a final two week period for Offerors to finalise their Offers knowing there will be no further Addenda issued.
