Gwongorella Day use area Redevelopment

The Department of Environment and Science (DES) Through Queensland Parks and Wildlife Servicce (QPWS) is inviting offers from contractors to provide construction service for redevelopment of the Gwongorella Day Use Area and associated car parking areas in Springbrook National Park. The proposed redevelopment will incorporate multiple trade disciplines, with an objective to:
• Provide independent entry and exit for all vehicular traffic;
• Increase the carrying capacity of the car park;
• Remediate surface treatments throughout the car park;
• Define pedestrian traffic flow in the day use area and car park with exposed aggregate concrete paths;
• Upgrade existing infrastructure to reduce ongoing maintenance.
