Description
As a result of monsoonal rain and numerous tropical cyclones across some areas of Queensland, Department of Transport and Main Roads’ road network sustained an unprecedented level of damage between January 2010 and April 2010. These events resulted in the Minister for Emergency Services (supported by Emergency Management Queensland) activating the NDRRA relief/assistance for a majority of Queensland.
In response to these events, TMR proposes to undertake the repair and rehabilitation of its road network at various locations across the State.
TMR is seeking to form six (6) Alliances with suitably qualified and experienced design and project management consultant groups who have the capacity, capability and commitment to work with TMR to achieve outstanding outcomes on this complex and challenging Program of works.
