Micro-credentials in the NETM will be commissioned in response to industry-identified skills needs. The NETM and its governance process will facilitate increased responsiveness to industry requirements than in traditional models of education. Through the development of the Fundamentals of Intellectual Property for Industry, the Authority is looking to deliver the following learning outcomes: • Identify different types of IP and explain how these relate to ownership • Operate IP registration databases in searches to identify existing IP and apply for IP • Explain the role and impact of IP in business dealing and/or legal agreements, such as joint ventures, partnerships or employee contracts • Demonstrate awareness of the limitations of IP registration in a global and online context • Demonstrate an understanding of remedial actions for perceived IP infringement UTS has been selected by the Tender Evaluation Team from NETM Panel as offering the best technical solution and best value for money
