Glenmore SS-New Staff Carpark (With Design Responsibility)

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a New Staff Carpark at Glenmore SS , located at 241-259 Farm Street, Rockhampton North, QLD, 4701, as part of the Prioritised Nominated Project (PNP) program.

The works include the construction of a retaining wall, relocation of key fire, water and data services, the resurfacing of the existing driveway and a new car park containing 10 new spaces, complete with drainage, signage, lighting, line marking and wheel stops. The position of the building is at the front of the school with limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by mid April 2023

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1.0m

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
