Anakie State School SIE Block B Refurbishment (Design and Construction)

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of refurbishment works to 4 classrooms in Block B at Anakie State School, located at 1 School Ln, The Gemfields QLD 4702 as part of the School Infrastructure Enhancement (SIE) program.

The works include new flooring, lighting, air conditioning, internal walls, external screens, joinery, window treatment, complete internal and external repaint and fittings to four classrooms in Block B. All works are to be completed by 27 January 2020.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:
• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1 Million

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
