Caboolture SS - GLA Refurbishment

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a GLA Refurbishment at Caboolture SS, located at 12-16 George Street, Caboolture QLD 4510, as part of the School Infrastructure Enhancement (SIE) program.

The GLA refurbishment comprises of the demolition of internal spaces and refurbishing two general learning areas and a breakout space to Block A and three general learning areas and a breakout space to Block B including inter alia floor finishes, joinery, wet areas, ceilings, lights and fans and services. The position of the building is in the middle of the school with limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by February 2024.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1,000,000.00

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
