INVITATION TO OFFER: AQ053/2023 CIW21 Queensland Cultural Centre (QCC) Glass Balustrade Replacement Project

The State of Queensland represented by the Department of Treaty, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships, Communities and the Arts acting through Arts Queensland(the Principal) is seeking Tenders from Building Contractors to undertake the following building works project:

Queensland Cultural Centre Glass Balustrade Replacement Project. The scope of work includes:

• Replacement of glass balustrades with heat treated / strengthened glass to meet Building Code of Australia provisions, and
• Installation of LED lighting to the existing handrails with new glazing inserts.

The Principal intends to appoint a Head Contractor (building) in the role of Principal Contractor who will be responsible for sourcing, engaging, and managing all the appropriate and required industry/trade specialist sub‑contractors required to complete the works.

SPECIAL NOTES:

1. Mandatory Industry Briefing (MIB) applies to this ITO and attendance is mandatory – refer to the applicable MIB section in ITO.
2. Site Inspections (not mandatory) will be made available only to Tenderers who attend the MIB. Refer to section “Site Inspection” of the ITO.
3. PQC Eligibility – Potential Tenderers must be listed on the Project specific AQ 053/2023 Prequalified (PQC) System “Eligible Tenderer Report” – refer to applicable PQC Eligible Tenderer Report section in the ITO.
