Glass House Mtns SS Block F Refurbishment (With Design Responsibility)

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a Block F Refurbishment at Glass House Mtns SS, located at 58 Coonowrin Road, Glass House Mountains QLD 4518, as part of the School Infrastructure Enhancement (SIE) program.

The project consists of the refurbishment of the Block F (Prep Block) and some minor alterations to a shade structure. The works consists of new flooring, new joinery, new ceilings, new lights and fans and new glazing. The position of the building is at the front of the school with limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by May 2024.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works

• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1,000,000.00

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
