Waraburra State School - Hard Roof Outdoor Learning Area (With Design Responsibility)

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a Hard Roof Outdoor Learning Area at Waraburra SS , located at 55 Johnson Rd, Gracemere, QLD, 4702, as part of the Prioritised Nominated Project (PNP) program.

The works include the removal of two (2) timber structures and pavers, design and construction of new hard roof structure with galvanised steel framework and new concrete slabs. The position of the building works is at the front of the school with limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by 30 June 2023.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

·Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works

·Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1 Million

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
