Scarborough Boat Harbour Thurecht Parade Boat Ramp Reconstruction and Floating Walkway

The Contract includes the supply of all plant, labour and materials necessary to complete the Works in accordance with this Specification, Particular and General Conditions of Contract and the Drawings.

The major items included in the Works are as follows:

1. Detailed design of floating walkway and supply RPEQ certified drawings
2. Remove existing in situ concrete apron and boat ramp slab
3. Prepare subgrade to design levels
4. Supply and placement of geotextile in the subgrade of the work platform.
5. Preparation of base including supply and placement of geogrid.
6. Supply, placement and compaction of 75mm and 10mm crushed rock for the work platform including encasement with the geogrid.
7. Construction of insitu reinforced concrete apron slab and anchor beam.
8. Fabrication, Supply and placement of precast concrete boat ramp planks.
9. Supply and construction of northern grouted stone shoulder.
10. Grout repair to existing southern stone shoulder.
11. Relocate existing fish cleaning shelter including re-establishing water and drainage connection
12. Supply, fabricate and install floating walkway components, piles and abutment including lighting.
13. Supply and install pavement markings
