The Passenger Transport Board (PTB) is a SA statutory authority established in 1994 to plan, regulate and fund land-based passenger transport. The PTB invites interested parties to respond to this Request for Tender for the printing, distribution and warehousing of public timetables, the MetroGuide and general information guides. The provision of public transport information is a key ingredient in persuading the public to consider public transport and subsequently increase patronage on public transport. The warehousing and distribution function is also critical in terms of supplying publications to meet increased customer demand generated by service changes. Interested parties are required to complete a Confidentiality Agreement prior to being provided with information relating to this Request for Tender. A briefing for interested parties has been arranged for Friday 23 November 2001 at 10.30am at the Passenger Transport Board Offices, 136 North Terrace, Adelaide. It is strongly recommended that interested parties attend this briefing session.
