Description

The FPC is seeking to award one or more contracts to suitably equipped, reputable businesses to conduct thinning Services within the FPC's sandalwood plantation estate of up to 1,000 hectares. Successful respondents will be appointed to a Panel of Contractors. Sandalwood plantations contain the host tree of an alternative species, and several neighbouring sandalwood trees. The selective removal of sandalwood trees (referred to as Thinning) per host is now required across the FPC's sandalwood estate. Thinning services may also include the requirement for the Contractor to recover, prepare and store a portion of the sandalwood tree for later sale by the FPC.
