Disability compliant carparking and access ramp works at Cleland Wildlife Park and Blackhill Conservation Park.

The Department of Environment and Natural Resources is progressively working on corrective works in Conservation Parks to ensure Disability Discrimination Act compliance. Documentation was completed recently by Macutex Pty Ltd to provide safer and better compliance on disability carparking at Cleland Wildlife Park. Similarly, documentation to rectify existing disability compliance issues relating to carparking and access into Building 1 at Blackhhill Conservation Park has also been completed. DENR is now seeking tender bids for the correction works based on Macutex documentation. DENR will be seeking for the actual works to be done after the October school holidays to minimise disruption to public visitors and staff.
