Tenders are invited from relevant scientific instrument specialists to supply, install, commission and service a new inductively coupled plasma - mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) instrument at the Analytical Services Tasmania (AST) Laboratories, New Town, Tasmania.
AST provides an analytical chemistry and biological testing and advisory service to State and local government agencies, industry and to the general public on a fee for service basis.
The instrument will be used for the analysis of a broad range of metals in a number of environmental matrix types including fresh and saline waters, waste water, and acid digests of solid matrix types such as biota.
