Description
The purpose of this project is to provide Arc Infrastructure, the operator of the Flash-butt welding facility, with three new access tracks to connect the service road to the rail corridor. This will allow access to turnouts and other rail infrastructure for operations and maintenance needs, while ensuring minimal impact to the existing APA and BP underground pipelines.
The scope of this project incorporates:
- Construction of three access tracks from Kenwick Rail Freight Facility (KRFF) to the rail corridor;
- Embankment construction and drainage upgrades along Arc Infrastructure’s service road to the Western perimeter of the KRFF;
- Fence relocation & renewal; and
- Construction of BP & APA pipeline protection slabs, (Priced option).
