Description
You are invited to submit a response and associated fees for the provision of economic and tourism impact reports on major events, as detailed herein for Tourism and Events Queensland (TEQ).
The major event functions listed in the Tourism and Events Queensland Act 2012 are:
- Contribute to the Queensland economy;
- Attract visitors to Queensland;
- Enhance the profile of Queensland; and
- Foster community pride.
These functions, together with a commitment to achieve economic and social benefits for Queensland, will underpin TEQ’s performance reporting from 2017-18 onwards.
