The Maiala Day Use Area Upgrade at D'Aguilar National Park

General Information

Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) is inviting offers from contractors for the construction of the redevelopment of the Maiala Day Use Area (DUA), located within D'Aguilar National Park (South D'Aguilar section).

The successful contractor is to deliver:

• Final design of the electrical and water supply systems (bbq and water taps)
• Required investigations to undertake construction
• Statutory approvals
• Site establishment
• Demolition of identified facilities within the DUA
• Construction
• Rehabilitation and Demobilisation

Pre-close tender site inspection

A pre-close tender site inspection will be held on the 4 June 2019 between 11am and 1pm at the Maiala Day Use Area (Mout Glorious Road, Mount Glorious).

Tenderers may send up to two representatives of their company to the pre-close tender site inspection.

Notification to [email hidden] (quoting 'DES19123 site inspection' in email subject field) of your company's representatives must be provided by no later the 2pm on 3 June 2019.

Attendees of the site inspection should wear appropriate PPE including closed in shoes. It is recommended sun smart clothing be worn and water/food brought with attendees. A short safety induction will be provided by QPWS at the commencement of this inspection.
