Description
The purpose of this engagement is to implement a lease accounting system that is compliant with Australian Accounting Standards AASB 16 Leases, to generate the appropriate monthly accounting entries in a suitable format to be easily integrated into the Department of Transport's general ledger and to produce a suite of reports to facilitate reporting and disclosure in the Department of Transport's annual financial statements relating to leases (from a lessee perspective).
