Mackay Regional Council (MRC) requires suitably experienced and resourced contractors to construct a new DN 100 oPVC sewer rising main in Sarina, approximately 400 meters in length as a replacement and rerouting of an existing sewer rising main.
Work will begin near existing Sewerage Pump Station (SPS) No. 3 on Brewers Road, cross Brewers Road, into an existing drainage easement to Hoey Street and then connect to the existing manhole.
This project involves the construction of:
• ~ 400 meters of DN 100 oPVC pipe
• DICL bends, connectors, tees and gibaults
• 1 scour valve and pit/vault
• 1 air valve and pit/vault
• Connection to a live sewer rising main (one end asbestos cement pipe) – done by MRC
• Connection to existing MH 1A_7-1_3 – done by MRC
• Street repair, sidewalk repair and easement rehabilitation
