Description
The Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety is seeking the provision of chemostratigraphic analysis of rock samples from selected petroleum wells in the northern Perth Basin to improve the stratigraphic resolution of the strata across key reservoir and seal intervals between the Early Permian – Triassic (298–201 million years ago). The results will then need to be interpreted and integrated with existing data to provide a comprehensive report. The results of the study will be important for development of energy and geosequestration projects in the northern Perth Basin.
