Mundubbera State School - GLA Refurbishment (With Design Responsibility)

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a GLA Refurbishment at Mundubbera SS, located at 57 Bunce Street, Mundubbera QLD 4626, as part of the School Infrastructure Enhancement (SIE) program.

The project consists of the Refurbishment of the Existing Staff Room and Cleaners store into a Staff Room, Guidance Officer Office and Interview Room. The works consists of new carpets, new wall linings, new acoustic insulation, new ceilings, new lights and fans, new power and data, new joinery and new roller blinds. The position of the building is in the centre of the school with limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by June 2023.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

•Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works

•Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1,000,000.00

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
