Mt Kilcoy State School - Outdoor Learning Area (With Design Responsibility)

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of the Block A ground floorrefurbishment at Mount Kilcoy State School, located at 251Jenkinsons Road, Mount Kilcoy Qld 4515, as part of the School Infrastructure Enhancement (SIE) program.

The refurbishment contains a Library, GLA, Life Skills, Undercroft area, and external lunch areas. The works consists of new carpet and vinyl flooring, new ceilings, new lights and fans, teaching walls, new counter tops, internal painting, doors and windows and special equipment to Block A ground floor. The position of the building is at the back of the school with reasonable site access and working space. All works are to be completed by May 2023.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1 Mil

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
