The Barndimalgu Court opened in August 2007 as part of the Court and Tribunal Services Directorate within the Department of Justice (DoJ) and is located in Geraldton, Western Australia. This court hears family and domestic violence matters involving Aboriginal people.
The Department of Justice (DoJ) is seeking a suitable Service Provider to provide a Victim Support Worker for the Barndimalgu Court (Family Violence Service) for victims of family and domestic violence, including those where the perpetrator is referred to the Barndimalgu Court. The Service has a particular focus on Aboriginal victims of family violence.
A Service Provider may be an individual, a body corporate, or Government Agency, and may be a for-profit or not-for-profit organisation.
