Description

The Department of Mines and Petroleum (DMP) is planning to undertake a drilling program in the south west of Western Australia.

This Request is for the provision of wireline logging services for that program.

The drilling program will involve drilling and collecting data from two (2) types of, and a total of three (3) bores: DMP bores Harvey 2, Harvey 3 and Harvey 4.

1. Harvey 2 and Harvey 3 will be fully cored bores, drilled with a mineral drilling rig capable of drilling PQ sized bores to a depth of approximately 1,500 metres.

2. Harvey 4 will be a hydrostratigraphic bore - drilled with rotary drilling rig capable of drilling a 174.6 millimetres (6⅞ inches) to 215.9 millimetres (8½ inches) hole, to a depth of approximately

1,850 m. This bore is to be completed with cemented 139.7 millimetres (5½ inches) casing.

It is expected that wireline logging services will be required from January 2015.
