INTERPRETATION PROJECTS – NATIONAL PARKS AND WILDLIFE SA

National Parks and Wildlife South Australia Provides environmental, cultural and indigenous interpretation products and programs for the South Australian community and visitors to the State. Expressions of interest are sought from individuals and agencies skilled in environmental, cultural and indigenous interpretation product development and delivery. Submissions that are considered appropriate will form part of a register of consultants for interpretation projects. The applicants will have knowledge of and experience in:  the planning and development of thematic interpretation,  the application of contemporary interpretation techniques and technologies,  the use of interpretation as a park management tool,  evaluating interpretation products and projects, and  the range of personal and non-personal interpretation products (eg. guided interpretation, exhibits, signs, publications, displays). Applicants will demonstrate the ability to:  liase with relevant stakeholder groups,  effectively communicate with and write for a wide audience,  work with the interpretation and design staff of the Public Communications and Marketing Unit and other Departmental staff to produce and carry projects to the installation stage, and  use modern research techniques to target key audiences. Applicants should submit a portfolio that contains examples of relevant work, prior experience, range of capabilities and a schedule of hourly rates.
