Description
The Department of Education’s (the Department) Road Safety and Drug Education (RSDE) branch, design, deliver and implement evidence based Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) programs and resources across Government, Catholic and Independent schools in Western Australia.
RSDE are seeking to pilot an innovative and novel approach to education resource design by using virtual reality (VR) as a medium.
The Contractor will be required to design and develop two (2) year 9 AOD lessons that comply with WA Curriculum and Principles of Best Practice. The vendor will provide 100 standalone (non-tethered) VR headsets that are fit for purpose and meet the Department's needs.
The Program will be piloted in 20 Public School across Western Australia with Year 9 Health Education students.
