Margaret River School Bus Service

School Bus Services administers the Student Transport Policy Framework which provides for transport assistance to eligible students attending their nearest appropriate school. Most commonly transport assistance is in the form of access to an ‘orange’ school bus. School bus services are generally provided as one contract per bus to promote small business and the length of contract depends on the service life of the vehicle.

There is a need for new contracts to provide school bus services in the Margaret River area/region. There are four (4) school bus services required in the area of Margaret River, each of which are listed as a separate service in the request for tender book 4 (Service). Therefore, there may be a separate tenderer awarded for each Service or a tenderer may be awarded more than one Service.

The Public Transport Authority of Western Australia is seeking tenders from people or businesses interested in contracting to provide school bus service/s for the nominated school bus service routes in Book 4 – Scope of Service/s. It is necessary for the tenderer to specify what Service/s they are tendering for.

The successful tenderer/s will be required to enter into a contract (Contract) with the Public Transport Authority to provide the relevant Service/s for the period 18/07/2022 to 17/07/2039 inclusive and in accordance with the conditions of contract and the Service/s (including the service area/s awarded).
