20C916 Pavement Rehabilitation and Sealing of the Strzelecki Track and Upgrade of the Strzelecki Track / Adventure Way Junction

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Department of Infrastructure and Transport (the Department) is sealing the Strzelecki Track as part of the stimulus funding from both the State and Federal Governments. The Strzelecki Track is a 472 kilometre unsealed rural road that links the towns of Lyndhurst to Innamincka in the north east of South Australia. It is a vital supply link for major oil and gas facilities located near Moomba, in the Cooper and Eromanga Basins and is an essential transport corridor for outback communities, tourism and pastoralists. The nature of the unsealed road makes it inaccessible during wet weather and flood events, negatively impacting on the efficient and safe operations of road users. By sealing the Strzelecki Track, it will increase transport efficiency and improve road safety for all road users

PREQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Companies must be prequalified with the Department for Infrastructure and Transport in the following prequalification categories:

• Roadworks level: R1
• Financial level: F5
