Provision of Cleaning Services in Council owned Buildings for a 3 Year Period

The City of Whyalla website www.whyalla.sa.gov.au contains a wide range of information relating to the Council and its operations. The Council performs its functions in accordance with the Local Government Act 1999, and has a wide range of statutory obligations under state and federal legislation.

The City of Whyalla owns and operates, on behalf it its community, numerous building facilities. These facilities house internal and external operations and are essential for the Council to continue providing quality services to its ratepayers.

Council is seeking to engage suitably qualified and experienced cleaning contractor(s) to undertake cleaning services of Council’s facilities in a professional manner, providing a high standard of presentation, hygiene and cleanliness at all times.

The contract will be for a 3 year period with two rights of renewal at one year each (at Council’s discretion) subject to budget approvals and contractor performance.

This contract is to be scoped as separable portions as outlined, with costs based on each portion not on the contract as a whole and consideration needs to be given to whether you would be willing to accept only one portion if successful.
