Description
The Public Transport Authority requires the production of Safety Cases at the conclusion of specific project phases of the Forrestfield-Airport Link (FAL) project. The works being delivered for the FAL Project are a combination of Main Works that are being delivered by a single main contractor using a design, construct and maintain (DCM) delivery framework and PTA Works that are delivered using a number of contracts that prepare the construction site for the main works delivery and provide for the integration with the existing rail system.
The Safety Cases shall be used by the PTA as part of system acceptance at key milestones, for the purpose of proceeding to the next Project phase and the scope of each safety case shall be the Main Works and the PTA Works.
