Supply, Delivery, Installation, Commissioning and Optional Service and Maintenance of Operating Tables for Fremantle Hospital (FH) and Rockingham General Hospital (RGH)

South Metropolitan Health Service (SMHS) is seeking offers for the supply, delivery, installation, commissioning and optional support and maintenance of up to 17 operating tables with attachments and accessories for Rockingham General Hospital (RGH) and Fremantle Hospital (FH) that will replace the current fleet which have reached the end of their life expectancy.

RGH requires up to five operating tables and FH requires up to 12 operating tables in total. SMHS require an initial purchase of nine operating tables, and then would like the option to purchase up to an additional eight tables within the first two years of the Head Agreement.

RGH is a general hospital with an emergency department (ED) and supports inpatient surgical services including:

• Ear, Nose and Throat
• Gastroenterology
• General
• Gynaecology
• Orthopaedic
• Paediatric (general)
• Plastic

FH is a 300-bed specialist hospital that has an important role in supporting Fiona Stanley Hospital, as the tertiary centre, and for the ongoing delivery of services to patients within SMHS. Elective surgical services are offered in the following specialties:

• General surgery
• Orthopaedics
• Plastic surgery, specifically hands
• Ear, nose and throat
• Gynaecological
• Dental and Maxillo-facial
• Urology
• Endoscopy
• Ophthalmology.

The contract period will be for a total of 18 years including an initial term of eight years with 10 options to extend the contract, each option being 12 months in duration.
