WA Department of Fire and Emergency Services
Panel of Preferred Mental Health Service Providers for Emergency Services
Details
Description
The Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) aims to replace their current Employee Assistant Program (EAP) model with a Panel of Preferred Mental Health Service Providers for the provision of general counselling by psychologists and clinical psychologists across the State.
It is expected that the collective experience of the panel will provide state-wide services to support the mental health and wellbeing of DFES employees, emergency services volunteers and their immediate family members. It is expected that providers will respond from across the State and vary in size and experience. DFES seeks to establish three lines of service to support the mental health needs of DFES employees, emergency services volunteers and their immediate family members.
1. Panel of preferred mental health service providers;
2. Crisis care; and
3. Training, mediation and coaching.
