Description

The National Broadband Network (NBN) is a Federal Government initiative to provide high speed broadband telecommunications services for businesses and homes across Australia. A number of suburbs within the Adelaide greater metropolitan area have been included in the next stage of the rollout, including localities within the City of Prospect and City of Tea Tree Gully Council areas.

The City of Prospect and the City of Tea Tree Gully have agreed to establish a single project management structure to acquire and implement the new technology and services across both organisations.

The overall aim of this project is to provide improved accessibility by customers to Council forums and services, by offering additional and supplementary channels for communication.
