Cleaning, Decontamination and Restoration Air Handling Unit Gatton

The work shall cover the cleaning, decontamination and restoration of the Air Conditioning Systems (AHU 1) within the Main Building – Gatton Health Service including but not limited to the following:

1) Install fixed frame access panels to facilitate cleaning of Air Handling Unit 1.
2) Clean and disinfect all components of Air Handling Unit 1 including, but not limited to the following:
a. All associated ducting
b. Direct return, supply air ductwork, plenum and dampers
c. Evaporator coils
d. Condensate trays and drains
e. Supply air fans
f. Supply air registers and grills
g. Condensate trays and drains
h. All internal surfaces of the AHU
3) Clean Air Handling Unit plant room.
4) Fit new filters shall to replace existing. (supplied by QHealth)
5) Provide a complete report of the internal condition of the air conditioning system including photos taken before and after cleaning.
6) All cleaning and disinfecting of the internal surfaces of AHU 1 and ducts will be carried out after hours. Some staff may be working in the area during the cleaning process.
