Description
This contract is for the provision of 11,000 x 140 litre mobile garbage bins and the rollout of 10,160 of the said bins in Whyalla (domestic 10,160/shacks 193) to create a two (2) binhousehold collection and waste disposal system. Council is investigating the possibility of implementing a three (3) bin system in the near future.
Full specifications include bins delivered to Whyalla, to be rolled out to 10,353 properties and the remainder to be kept by Council as spares.
§Storage to be provided until rollout.
§Bins to be unwrapped and condition to be checked – damaged items to be returned.
§Bins to be assembled with lids and wheels fitted, sticker to be fitted with list of acceptable wastes.
§Distribution to be arranged to the 10,353 estimated properties involved including shack locations.
§A data base to be kept and provided to Council in Excel format or similar with addresses and serial numbers of all bins.
§Insurances to be provided and Occupational Health, Safety and Welfare Act to be complied with at all times.
§Colour of bins to be yellow but may be subject to change. Separate cost to be provided for (1) the bins and2) rollout and (3) both the 140 litre bins (11,000) and 240 litre bins (11,000).
Please supply separate prices for the following options in the Schedule of Rates (in the Conditions of Tender and Tender Form) document.
1.11,000 yellow 140 litre bins only (for household collection);
2.11,000 blue 240 litre bins (for recycling); and
11,000 yellow 140 litre bins (for household collection
3.Rollout costs for each option.
