Description

The Drug and Alcohol Office is seeking Offers from suitable service providers for the provision of an inpatient medical withdrawal and respite service for young people with a physical dependence on alcohol and other drugs; and specialist outpatient services including WA Diversion Program services for youth in Perth. This is a continuation of service and the current YWRS is provided from a five bed facility in East Perth. The Request will encourage potential providers to put forward an evidence based service model and work in partnership with DAO’s Next Step to achieve the specified outcomes.
The community outcomes include: reduction of alcohol and drug related harm; improvement in wellbeing including physical, mental, emotional and social wellbeing; and improvement in attitude, knowledge, skills and understanding of strategies to reduce the adverse effects of alcohol and drug use.
Offers comprised of a consortia/partnership will also be considered.

Estimated contract price is dependent on the fixed annual budget of approximately $1.434m (ex GST).
Contract is 3 years with 2x1 year options to extend.
